Kérastase Reflection Chroma Sensitive Balm is a gentle, low-foaming cleansing balm that cleanses hair whilst protecting from colour fade. The unique low-foaming Colour-Protect System is comprised of one-quarter delicate cleansing base, which is sulfate, paraben and silicone free, and three-quarters emollient base that is rich in nourishing Vitamin E to help prevent colour loss. This makes it the perfect post-colouration shampoo, as its soft texture is ideal for freshly coloured, delicate hair.
Colour fade is caused by three elements - chemical and mechanical stress, environmental aggressors and friction caused by daily washing with unsuitable foaming shampoos. The low-foaming action in Kérastase Reflection Chroma Sensitive Balm enables the colour pigments to remain attached to the hair fibre, as the light lather formula requires less friction upon application compared to regular shampoos. It is this unnecessary friction and excess foam that leads to colour fading, subsequently diminishing the condition of the hair. The specially Vitamin E enriched formula of Kérastase Reflection Chroma Sensitive Balm means it conditions and seals in colour as it cleanses, so there is no need to apply a masque afterwards.
How to use Kérastase Reflection Chroma Sensitive Balm
- Dispense the correct amount for your hair length into your palm: Short hair - 5 pumps, Mid-length hair - 10 pumps, Long hair - 15 pumps.
- Ensure the hair is soaking wet then apply the balm from root to tip.
- Massage in gently, gradually adding water to obtain a light foam.
- Leave for 2-3 minutes, then rinse very thoroughly.
- There is no need to follow with a masque as the balm contains conditioning properties.
- For prolonged colour radiance, alternate the balm with your regular Kérastase Bain and Masque.
